Fred the Red Boy Kitty Needs Help

A friend of mine, Karen, is trying to help place a 12-14 year old red boy named Fred, who is a special needs kitty. He has diabetes that is currently under control via diet and some dandruff issues. He needs someone who can tend to his special requirements and groom him and love him till the end.

Fred’s owner died, leaving poor Fred alone in the world. Not many people can or are willing to take in a special needs kitty, and an older special needs boy at that. Fred currently lives in Jersey City with his interim caregiver. There *may* be some financial help available if Fred’s medical condition worsens, but that’s not guaranteed.

Fred’s mellow and loves to follow his people around. He isn’t a lap kitty, but can be loving when he’s in the mood.
