Magical Wishes Contest

Ever want something so bad you can’t imagine not getting it? Or that it hurts to think about? In Bone Magic, Camille gets something she's always wanted...but the price she pays is one she never imagined having to pay. And she'll never be the same again.
A couple years ago I ran a fun little contest where I played the Djinn. People had the choice to make a magical wish of a Djinn they met wandering through the field. And if they did…well…

True to form, I play the Djinn…but remember: the genie in the bottle often corrupts the wish, twist it based on the way the person worded it. Magical wishes are fun, but dangerous toys and sometimes the price is high. Maybe the genie in the bottle will play by the rules…and maybe she won’t. ~wicked grin~

To enter my Magical Wishes contest, this time yes—you must make a magical wish…Now, it won’t count if you make it for more wishes, or for something nebulous like ‘world peace’ or ‘comfort for the rest of my life…’ No, you must wish for something specific—and please, nothing heavy or true to life (no: please save my cat entries or anything like that—I may be a witch, but this is just a game, folks—and it’s meant to be a fun one). I promise that I—and if there are a lot of entries, my assistant Djinn (Justine)--will answer all entries after the contest closes. So even if you don’t win, check back on January 1st to see what happened to your wish!

Rules (and with all contests, you MUST follow ALL the rules or your entry will be disqualified. I have to tell you: about 50% of people don’t follow the rules and so never do have a chance…don’t cheat yourself out of the chance to win, pay attention):
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be a resident of the US and state so in your entry (if you are out of country and want to play, you may, but you will not be entered in the contest)
  • Must include your email address in your entry (you can write it like: me AT host DOT com if you want to avoid spambots)
  • Tell me your magical wish, remembering the rules set forth above. And word it carefully—we Djinns are terribly clever. ~wicked grin~

PRIZES: 1 person will receive a $25 gift certificate (online) to Amazon.com.

IF YOU WIN: you must be willing to give us your name and snail mail address via email. You will have ONE WEEK to answer my assistant's email (and she keeps copies of sent emails, so we'll know if it went out). If you do NOT answer within that time, we will choose another winner (s).

Contest is open from 12:01 AM December 27th till midnight Pacific time, December 28th, 2009. No purchase necessary. Void where restricted or prohibited. All taxes responsibility of winners. We are not responsible for emails gone astray or post office emergencies or anything like that and cannot replace books lost in the mail.

Good luck, and Dark Sparklies to you,
Yasmine

If I could ask a Dijnn for anything it would be a brand new adorable puppy. If it was a gift then daddy could not say no because the puppy was already there.

Dear Dijinn,

My wish would be for a safe, comfortable self cleaning & maintaining house with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on at least a 1/4 acre of fenced property that I would own free & clear that is tied to a physical location that is close to and allows easy & quick egress to my place of employment and places of entertainment for myself, my pets and my chosen family/friends.

If I could ask a Djinn for anything, It would have to be for real, sturdy book cases. Nice wood book cases. To house my thousand (and always growing) home library. I'd follow my system if I was asked for something in return: I donate books to shelters and hospitals when I'm done reading them. If new books come in, older ones must move out.Except my faves, of course.

Seeing as this is a magic wish, I don't think I'd wish for something mundane and accomplishable by normal means.

I'd wish for a harem of hot, sexy guys who were perfectly willing to do whatever I asked. *grin* Some Blood Elves thrown in would be nice.

My wish would be for someone to come in and organize my home office. There are landmines everywhere, the desk is too big, the furniture isn't arranged correctly, and the papers are taking over. Bleh.

Been holding at 29 for about 15 years.

Live in Colorado.

My wish... Hmm. I think I would wish for a ever expanding room to use as a library. One that looks ordinary at first glance, but has unlimited capacity. It would need shelves and shelves for all my books, a system to find them, and a door that comes when called and always leads back to my own house. Also, this room can only grow, never shrink in on a person.
That would be ... amazing!

I WAS going to wish to have a Brownie in the house to cook and clean for me (much like Iris, or Hairy Meg from War For the Oaks) but then I realized I'd probably get pregnant and have a girl.
SO...
I'm wishing to have a magic wardrobe that always has work perfect clothes that actually fit me.
OR
a magic bra that always fits no matter what I'm wearing or if I lose/gain weight.
