I just realized that all my faerie figurines that I collect are the work of Nene Thomas. Which must mean that I really love her work since that's what I've focused on. Here are two of my favorites (though I love the Crimson Bubble Faerie, the other two are my faves so far). Queen of Owls on the left, and Queen of Shadows on the right. I use them as inspiration.
What do you love to collect? Did you ever find yourself gravitating toward a certain artist or pattern of china or something without realizing it?

Nene is awesome! I had her sign one of her prints for me at a convention years ago. I love Michael Whelan's paintings too.
Yes, I love Nene Thomas work! I have all of her statues except for Serenity. And I buy the calendar each year, which means the lastest one is at home, and the older ones are hanging in my office at work, side by side. New wall decoration every month :)
My favourites are Faery of Ravens (which was my first), and A chance encounter, and Faery of the Black Cats.
There are some more awesome artists, but I limit myself to collecting only Nene, and books. The bigger statues are spaced out on my bookshelves.
So awesome you know and like her too!
Not so much statues as pictures. Josephine Wall is one that has drawn me for a long time, but I had no idea who she was until a month or so ago.
I love Nene. I had the crimson bubble faery until my kitties decided to climb my shelves and knock her off. Such a sad day. I have the Owl Queen tapestry in my bedroom by the fireplace. I LOVE it! Sadly, I just found that Nene has been at the Kansas City ren faire for years and is now selling her booth there. If I would have known she was there I would have made the trip.
