Themes
One of
the important themes that runs through my writing in the Indigo Court Series is
that nothing is as it appears. Everything is mutable. The world of the Indigo
Court is a cold, harsh, frozen world caught in the hands of a ruthless queen,
and alliances within this world are formed and broken on a continual basis.
Those you trust my betray you. Those you are wary of may turn out to be allies.
There is no security within this world—that is what the characters are fighting
for: to return the balance to their world, to bring about a new order that
allows neither the light nor the dark to rule supreme.
