Readers often ask me if my characters and their caffeine addictions are a reflection of my own love of caffeine. (*koffs* Yes).
Hell, when I was writing the Chintz ‘n China series (and no, there will be No More Books in that series—I’m proud of them, really happy you loved them, but the series is LONG over and done), I was trying to cut down on my coffee. The more I tried to cut down, the more it seemed that Emerald’s trips to Starbucks spiraled proportionately higher, until in One Hex of a Wedding, it seemed like she was there every other chapter. I had NO CLUE I had done this till my husband pointed it out.

Anyway, so I thought I’d finally show you a picture of my home ‘coffee shop’…Um, you’ll notice yes, there IS an espresso machine but no actual coffee maker. That’s because I don’t drink regular coffee and Sam pretty much has switched to cappuccinos (and he has his own raging caffeine addiction though it doesn’t quite rival mine).
